A touch of 1950s nostalgia in a dream of a datcha

Built mainly for use during the short Russian summers this 1950’s dacha is clad in wooden boards and set in a forest on the North shore of the Gulf of Finland. The owner grows the flowers that she arranges and records in watercolour paintings every summer, a year-round reminder of brighter, lighter days.
